Can we get EVGA to send a Review Motherboard?

Those pussies are chicken shit, have been since that GPU with the fancy cooler got submarined.......what, 15 years ago or something ? .....no boards, no GPUs, no PSUs, nadda.

I used to buy their stuff.....used to......now I'd rather read about MSI, ASUS and Gigabyte all day long rather than their bullshit.

I'll stick with MSI and/or Gigabyte. EVGA should stay out of the mobo business....

Sure is a shame since i bought an evga 750i sli FTW after reading about it here....

I don't think EVGA will even bite on this one. It's their loss if it's as good as they claim.

I managed to get a good overclocking 1080ti from them, but that's the only think I have bought from evga in years

I've bought shit loads of GPU's from EVGA, but only one mobo, a 780i SLI.
Had it for about a year than it started acting wonky and eating RAM for breakfast, so I sold it to a non-OC'er.
Would I buy another mobo from EVGA? FUCK NO!

I don't think [H] should even bother. From what I've seen for the past few years, people don't really care about EVGA motherboards anywhere near as much as their GPUs, outside of one hit wonders like the SR-2. Asus, MSI and Gigabyte are massively more popular for good reason.

RGB boards.

I'll deal with EVGA board issues for the warranty service.

Dealt with warranty service with Asus once a few years ago. Never again, and all the others (MSI, etc) aren't any better.

Decent service based in the US means something when you actually have a problem.

I had the issues I had straightened out by ASUS with my mobo. It was not without some hassle tho.

Tech promised me a cross-ship, then told me they had none to cross ship... they took 2 weeks to get me a new one. In the downtime, I rebought the same mobo off newegg.

EVGA Mob's ive had nothing but problems with my P55 SLI E665 and I would never go back to EVGA after all that shit.

hit wonders like the SR-2

Not sure where all this EVGA hate comes from.

-Best warranty and trade-in policies for those living in North America.
-Top spot on my list of recommended GPU brands.
-In countries where there is no Seasonic, EVGA's PSU are a decent alternative.
-They once made the best mobo ever, the SR-2.

Oh there power supplies are top tier! Everybody knows that! Mb not so much lol

Can only comment on my old 780 SLI motherboard, which I believe I read the review on here as well.

I also still run a eVGA 970 SC, which I'm very happy with. Of course I barely play games anymore but have still clocked a probably 150-200 hours on it, and still working well.

I always regarded eVGA as a high end manufacturer and I've only heard good things about their RMA. But might have been out of the loop for a while....

I hate Twitter with a passion though so I won't be signing up, sorry Kyle. Happily sign a petition though or something.

Yea there warranty is top notch. Had to rma a x79 dark mb once and they fixed it np... none of this the pins are Somehow bent bs other companies ues

I didn't even know they made mb's.:ROFLMAO:

lol you and me both, i forgot they still made them.. the last time i ever bothered to look at motherboards from them was back when x58 came out, after that i thought they stopped making them.

I was only specifically referring to their motherboards lacking the acclaim and accolades of their mainstay GPU product line, but I know their PSUs are also decent and no better or worse than other top brands if you choose the ones that are made by quality OEMs.

The last motherboard we saw from them was one of the regular X58 motherboards. That generation almost every X58 board I reviewed was excellent, and the EVGA version was mediocre at best and I think I shit in their Cheerios or something by saying that.

so they send you a board then what? as an EVGA lover I hope they don't ever send you anything again, shit4brains hater
lolololololololol_o_383711.gif

My sr-x is pretty nice :p other then that i pretty much only supermicro mobos and psu's. all my gpus are amd so no chance to try them there either.

It probably gets exposed for the piece of shit that it is....or it does well..but not sending boards to reviewers who are critical of them tells me all I need to know
yep we have seen this behavior before and it always ends up being a product thats nothing to get excited over lol...I do love their re branded power supply's! lol

GPU's.. they are one of the best.
PSU, they are great when not substitution shit for the real deal.
Mobo's.. TERRRRRIBLE. They barely update Bio's to fix it (When I had a P55.. it was like once every 6months, if that.)

RMA Sure is great.. unless your my cousin who had his P67 Micro blow a capacitor, and then the 2 they sent him still wouldn't post after that, even with the CPU sent out to Intel for a swap out... and they still wouldn't do a damn thing for him.

Actually glad I saw this. Was considering this Z370 micro since I wanted to change it up from the usual ASUS/MSI, but I'll go with the ASUS Z370 Strix then.

For a long time I only bought EVGA. BUt honestly their mobos aren’t great and their video cards aren’t as compelling as they used to be. I’d just as likely to go Asus or MSI these days.

So buy their board and review it if you care that much.

I realize you can’t do that with everything or even most things —- but there should be some off the shelf retail purchase money floating around at this long tenured, highly trafficked site.
