No Steam black friday sale?

I thought they always have one? Gamersgate has one but it is mostly garbage games.
 
Next Wednesday for steam sale. Humble store started their sale earlier this week also.
 
I think the Halloween and Thanksgiving sales are just placeholders for the big Christmas one...makes no sense to have 3 big sales in back to back to back months...
 
It's amazing how Black Friday no longer has anything to do with the Friday after Thanksgiving.
 
Last Steam sale was mostly garbage games anyway. Didn't buy one thing. Go look at gamersgate sale, it is horrible bargain bin fodder. Maybe I have bought all the games worth buying already.
 
Steam sales have been trash for a while now. I usually just go to CDKeys for the occasional sale. Never had an issue with them.

I grabbed Hollow Knight for just under $10 on sale. Absolutely worth it, would even recommend it at it's full price.
 
Yeah now the stores call it Black November and run sales all month long but usually the stuff I want is a measly $20 or $30 off of hundreds of dollars which is jack shit. The good old days of a real Black Friday specials died a few years ago. As far as Steam goes wait for November 24th - November 27th. Personally I always felt the Steam Holiday sale in December is better.
 
I didn't see this mentioned elsewhere, but the Steamlink is $5 right now. I already have a Shield TV, but I grabbed a Steamlink anyway, because... it's $5. :D I'll pop it on one of the TVs that has LESS gaming attached to it, and give it a whirl.
