Antec TP-750C 750W GOLD Power Supply
Antec HCG-750M 750W Gaming Modular Power Supply

I would like to maybe run 2 GPUs , of GTX 1070/60 , for simulation application NOT mining or gaming, but hey if it works for games then great , my daughter will love it.

The TP-750C is cheaper by say 10%...

The modular thing is more for cosmetic right ?
Not really a must right ?

Yes, I just installed my 1st full modular and do to the layout of the cables and length I still had to use all cables even though I have a minimal setup

Modular means you use less cables which means less of a mess of rat's nest. I prefer modular over non. It's cleaner and looks neater.

Modular isn't a must have but it sure is nice. Using only the cables you need really cleans up your case and makes installation easier not to mention helping air flow a little. That said, that True Power unit looks very impressive. A 10 for performance and a 10 for build quality would make it my choice. Of those two choices, that would be my pick.

Yah that "https://www.evetech.co.za/PC-Hardware/antec-tp-750c-750w-power-supply-711.aspx" its going for 1299 ZAR here on sale.
So thought, okay let me get it , in case i decide to buy 2 GTX 1060 or 1 GTX1070 , to start with - i have a A88X MSI G43 , with X4 860k , not the bets in the world but it is a nice board for 2 cards.
PSU i have is not good though, its really old , and it is only 460 Watts,
That said, they have a GTX 1060 MSI on sale "https://www.evetech.co.za/buy-msi-geforce-gtx-1060-3gb-dual-fan/best-deal/3101.aspx", which is like really good in comparison to the cards here, everybody is greedy and their prices are bumped up. Im also hoping thise card is not poor in performance compared to the Gigabyte Windforce OC version for example, and any other GTX1060 type
Its just not cool looking cause it doesnt have a back plate but its going for 3350 ZAR which is pretty good i think.
I looked at stuff like 1070 but i am not sure if it is what i want, its about double the price but u dont get double performance, so i reckon the gtx 1060's should be great enough.

Helped my airflow a lot. Cable management - an underappreciated art.
