Yeah, if you want to pay only $0.49, it really has to be only (bendable) paper in the envelope. Even a microSD card doesn't qualify.

Spend the $2.60 to send it in a padded envelope :)
 
Some one send me a micro SD in an envelope, it was broken in half. be aware of those sorting belts and rollers. (I was also sent a video card before that way.)
 
Don't use a envelope. Someone once sent me 4 thermal paste syringes in an envelope, all broke. :(

On topic, I think I have some 2x2gb ddr3 sodimm too. Gotta check. EDIT: Nope

Does anyone have a Windows 7 key they'd like to part with, I got a computer in from the local food pantry for repair.

The motherboard is grenaded with exploded capacitors, the PSU is a charcoal briquette and it runs Windows Vista. I'm just going to donate them a computer out of my stash, but it needs Windows 7 installed.
 
Anyone got a AC or Dual Band router that they don’t need and possibly 2 network switches like 4 ports ?

Shipping is going to be more than where I can tell you to find the ones I did--local Goodwill store. You can pick up routers all day long for $5-10 (which can also be used as switches). Salvation army store isn't too bad too as well as any 'thrift' store that takes donations for their inventory. It's the best place to get great network cables too for 99 cents. I wish I would have found them sooner.

would anyone have a HP 8300 sff pwr supply for me borrow for testing this board in a system I bought from Goodwill? Its either the board or psu that's no good. cant use a standard psu cause the hp psu is proprietary for it. I'll pay for the shipping both ways.

You could also go the route of this adapter cable to test the board with any normal ATX power supply:

Alternatively, you could figure out which voltages the pins on the connectors are and chop the wires and stuff them in a molex connector on an ATX power supply.

The green wire on the P2 connector is probably power on, which can be shorted to ground to turn the supply on. Even if the PSU is marginal, it should work well enough to get a general voltage measurement.

It looks like most of those wires are either +12v or ground, with the exception of the blue probably being -12v and the white on the P2 connector might be +5v.

I am cleaning out my parts closet in advance of my 23rd Annual Closet Cleanout Sale, and have run across some old hard drives that aren't really worth selling, but I hate to just throw away.

I am offering them for free, just pay the $8 flat rate shipping fee in the US, which is $7.15 for USPS and also covers my PayPal fees. If you want more than 1 I will put in the $14 flat rate box. If you happen to be in the Bismarck, ND area, you can pick them up. I can ship however you want if you happen to have a shipping account somewhere, whatever works for you.


GONE - Mystery 128gb SSD, it looks to be an mSATA in a 2.5" adapter, but it may be broken as it only shows up intermittently.
GONE - Seagate Momentus 5400.3 80GB - 2.5" SATA out of a laptop
GONE - Maxtor DiamondMax ST3160812A 160GB PATA (IDE) 3.5"
GONE - WD Caviar RE2 WD4000YR - 40GB 3.5" SATA
GONE - WD Raptor WD1500ADFD - 150GB 3.5" SATA
GONE - WD Raptor WD360 - 36GB 3.5" SATA

Other than the SSD, the drives appear to work normally and will come freshly formatted. I can even supply cables if you need one.
