YouTube plans to crack down on strange videos aimed a kids by age restricting the content. Back in August, the company announced it would no longer allow content creators to monetize videos using family friendly characters. Apparently these videos are a genre into itself as the company is taking these steps to prevent the further "corruption" of our young children. The company's first step are to alter its algorithmic filters and then have its team of humans review videos that have been flagged.

YouTube says it typically takes at least a few days for content to make its way from YouTube proper to YouTube Kids, and the hope is that within that window, users will flag anything potentially disturbing to children...
