Can anyone recommend a good place to purchase PSU extension cables from? I need 24 pin and 8 pin EPS. Thanks.

Can't just buy any extensions, they're specific to each power supply. Need to know what power supply & model #.

Silverstone makes some nice looking individually sleeved ones in a variety of colors. You can get them from Newegg or Amazon.

This is true if you just want a longer modular cable. But there are also extension cables that just have a standard female 24 pin connector on one end and a standard male 24 pin on the other.

Those Silverstone cables are for Silverstone psu's ONLY. I bought 2 sets from amazon. One set for a 1200w and the other set for the 1350w. Yes they are interchangeable but for Silverstone units only. Amazon has generic ones for other units, but you can't just use Silverstone cables and use them on a Corsair unit or vice versa. Doesn't work that way.

I was gonna use the Silverstone cables on my Seasonic. Guess what, it doesn't work, different pin layout. I would've risked the Seasonic frying up.

I think we are talking about different items. I'm talking about Silverstone Tek Sleeved Extension PP07
The reviews show pictures of people using them with all kinds of PSUs, they are just generic 24 pin extensions.

Not to be confused with Silverstone Tek Sleeved Cables PP06B
This is a cable that plugs directly into the PSU and is only compatible with Silverstone modular PSUs.

I know exactly which ones you where talking about. As I stated, I ordered 2 different sets of those extensions (PP07) for 2 different Silverstone units as i was changing themes/colors. Different pinouts between the Silverstone & Seasonic, thus is why i could not used them on the Seasonic. I had to include the extension kits when I sold the Silverstone units as they where useless to me.

The extensions are straight cables and work with any standard ATX PSU. You sir are confused. You are confusing extensions with full cable sets.

I myself am using the Silverstone and Cable Matters brand extensions for my GPU's and the Silverstone one for my 24pin.

I don't believe you know which ones he's talking about as they are standard ATX extension cables compatible with every PSU.

I am not confused. I know which ones I ordered and they did not work on my Seasonic. I'm sure I still have the receipt around here somewhere and I can also check my past orders from amazon. Would'nt you think if they did fit i would be using them instead of spending more money for the ones for my Seasonic?

If the OP wants to order them and try it, then by all means go ahead. I'm not the one risking my power supply. Hey OP go ahead and order them.

:)

So the consensus is the PP07 cables will work with any PSU?
those are what I am using, they are straight extension cables, work with any PSU.

you are looking for extension and not complete cables that go from the PSU to the mobo or gpu, right.

Yes, my cables are not long enough

That would mean your Seasonic's cables aren't compatible with your motherboard either.

Those PP07 Cables will work with any PSU.

PSU > PSU 24 pin cable > PP07 Extension Cable > Motherboard

Anyone know of a 90 Degree 6 pin PCie power extension cable or adapter? I thought evga had something a while back but can't locate. My strait power cord to my 1060 is smashed up against the window in my Corsair Carbide 240 Micro case.

The Silverstone ones mentioned earlier in this thread are what you are looking for. I've had a set in my Corsair 800d for years, and have changed out different branded PSU's twice, using the same extensions. As previously mentioned they are straight cables with the standard 24pin motherboard plug on one end and a female version of the exact plug on the other.
