Can someone help me find a new mouse like mine?

So the mouse I currently have is quite a few years old and love it but lately it's been having some issues to the point it must be replaced. Forgot exactly what model it is but I took some pictures:

It's logitech but forget the exact model. Doubt it's still made though. I want a mouse just like it though in terms of shape/length etc. Doesn't have to be logitech.

Your best replacement is another logitech if you want the same shape.

The mouse you got is the old G500. It was replaced by the G500s. The G500s is essentially the exact same mouse but upgraded laser sensor. It's the same shell they used on the MX518, G5, G5s, G500, and the G500s. Anything older than the G500s is a bit hard to find at decent prices because they are all EOL and very little stock. The G500s can still be had a somewhat decent price but there are cheaper newer models.

The closest mice you can find in their current lineup are the G403, G502, G603, and G703. Feel free to compare the features here.

FWIW, I wear mine out every 2-3 years, just as the warranty is up. I've had the MX518 thru the G500s which is what I use currently and it's about done too. It's always the left or right click. I do not bother with warranty replacements since I do use them hard.

Agreed, I used an MX510 FOREVER, upgraded to a G700s and no problems transitioning at all

DUDE I loved that mouse. I currently have used and been very happy with the g700 series. You can pick up a cheapo g700s on amazon, and if you don't like it just return it.

I have my G5, love it, still keeps on trucking. I am always shopping around for Logitech stuff, if I come across one, will send your way.

The G500s has a nice scroll.
I upgraded to a G403 and I'm happy with it.

Logitech gave me a g403 to replace another broken mouse I have, and while it's not bad, compared to the g700s it's a little more dinky to me. I love the height of the g700s.

Here's are pictures I took comparing the two. The g403 is a little lower, and while it doesn't seem like much it's noticable since the thumb buttons on the g700s are higher.. The thumb rest is also nice, and the 2 extra buttons on the side. Using the g700s thumbrest, my thumb doesn't drag on the surface, but also isn't sitting on the buttons.

The curve of the g700 is much more pronounced compared to the MX518.

I too got a g403 as replacement for my g700s, and I noticed the height difference, but the overall shape of the mouse made it almost feel bigger in my hands. It was strange - so far though I am rather pleased overall.
To the OP, I would think you could transition to almost any current generation logitech mouse. I would head to a shop that has them on display and hold some. I think you'd be pleasantly surprised by what the new mice all feel like.

I ended up replacing mine with the Steelseries RIval 300 and I love it. The shape isn't 100% the same (it feels a tad longer) but I got used to it in a hurry and love it.
