Yup. JC3 went more in the direction of Far Cry 3 & 4. The smaller map and samey areas and missions were disappointing. I enjoyed it but not as much as JC2.
 
JC3 just doesn't feel alive to me, I dunno call me weird but I wish they would have put more effort into Mad Max then they did with JC3.

Same here. I finished the game, but I didn't really have any desire to get 100% of everything afterwards.

And although the ending was very "Mad Max", it kind of sucked balls.
 
Finally returning to this game & loving every minute of it since I finally learned to grapple, throw my 'chute & then use the wing suit!
 
Great game. I need to get back to this and finish up some of that DLC.

Depends on how much you want to complete. You can blaze through the game in 30 hours or do the side quests and challenges and play for 200 hours. Just playing with the grappling hook and bombs is entertainment for hours for me.
 
I did 54 hours and that was for pretty much all the content, aside from the achievements.
 
Sooo.... I got tired of sitting in my GAME BOX racing chair to play JC3, but I was having a lot of fun.

However, JC3 does not have STEAM CLOUD SAVES, so I installed JC2 on my HTPC & it is just as much fun - but it has random screen freeze & crashes, so did some troubleshooting & think I have it straightened out. I played 90 minutes back in 2011, so I just started a new game & it's just as much fun as JC3 - with slightly less friendly controls...

JC1 has aged. It's a hell of a comedown from 2 and especially 3. I personally wouldn't bother with it at this point.
 
I originally bought JC3 on the xbone. It was literally the biggest pile of steaming crap ever, Couldnt even walk with out stuttering and lag, let alone when there was an explosion. Was hesitant about buying a copy on the PC, but thank the lord, it plays soooo much better..

Yeah, I saw this video, but it's only $7 & will go on sale eventually...

PS: I like video game series nostalgia, like The Witcher 1 & 2 are in my library & Tomb Raider 1~x, etc.

Serves you right buying for console when you have a PC sporting a 1070
