Facebook has its own version of Apple’s Face ID: if you get locked out of your Facebook account, the company is testing a way to regain access by using your face to verify your identity. That could be especially useful if you’re somewhere that you can’t receive two-factor authentication SMS, like on a plane or while traveling abroad, or if you lose access to your email account.

If the feature proves reliably helpful to users and isn’t fooled by hackers, Facebook could potentially roll it out to more people. Over the years Facebook has tried a number of novel ways to help you get back into a locked account. In some cases, it asks you to identify photos of your friends to prove you’re you. Or it’s tried allowing you to designate several “trusted friends” who receive a code that you can ask them for to unlock your account.

Jebus, it's a fucking social media Fuckbook account, they try to make it seem like this is your bank accounts for security. For fuck sakes will this madness ever end!

What is ironic is, why is Facebook the one making new security practices, when it SHOULD be the banks and other industries being on top of security.

So you can store your fingerprints and face on your phone, and facebook. These are biometrics which uniquely identify you and CANNOT change. Once this information leaks somewhere, you can NEVER undo that. Unlike a password, which you can change, when biometric information gets leaked anywhere, you can never, ever, run from it.

You change your address, your phone number, your SIN, your first name, your last name, your middle names, who you work for, what car you drive, the country you live in, the religion you identify with, your sex, your hair, and plenty more.

But you can NEVER reliably change your biometrics.

Wilfully giving this information to third parties when breaches are known to happen every day, is just setting yourself up to be manipulated by others. Anyone with malice intent that has that info, can hunt you down and hold it against you.

What do you think will happen in the USA if you get labelled a terrorist? Even if you're a USA citizen, you will literally lose all your rights, and you will not be put in front of a public court, you will head straight to a military court.

This is the NWO we live in, and if we let this continue to happen, it will only get worse.
