Microsoft Finally Confirms Game Stuttering Problems in Windows 10 Creators Update

Is that for games or full-time use? Enabling it via the desktop still doesn't work right, but games like RE7 + Destiny and HDR movies now work even with it disabled via the desktop.
Mass Effect is still broken for non-Dolby sets, but supposedly that's the game' issue and is unrelated.

Turns purple/white at the desktop and in games after the Creator's update. My X800D is supposed to support 4:4:4, but I could only get 4:2:2 working (without the purple/white, before Creators update) and the picture looked very faint. I have pretty much given up at this point.

I have the X930E, it does not support 4:4:4 at 10 bits either, the bandwidth on HDMI even at 18Gbits isn't there, so I'm sure the X800D doesn't. (for clarity, I am referring to what you get over HDMI, internally they are 4:4:4 but I don't know how you'd ever get that, even blu-rays and UHD blu-rays are only 4:2:0.)

Aren't both Forza games and Gears of War 4 DX12 and Windows Store exclusives? Those are pretty terrific games that run well.
I dunno if I'd swap OS's for them (if I didn't want to) but they're worthwhile games.

Couldn't tell you because I've never used the Windows Store before. And I don't plan to.

Interesting. I wonder how they tested 4:4:4 color calibration in the reviews I have read. Maybe it that has nothing to do with the lack of brightness, contrast and color saturation anyway. Regardless, HDR looks all washed out and awful when it is "working" or white/purple when broken in Win 10 + nVidia with recent to latest drivers and updates. Seems fine on PS4 Pro, so I'm sure its a Win 10 or nVidia issue.

Daily driver computer is 10 but my gaming computer is still 7, problem solved.
