World of Warships Enters Open Beta!

Most respectable clans will look at your 90day and recent WTR/PR. warships today and wowsnumbers both have progress graphs and any clan worth joining knows to look for progress trends, not just flat numbers.
I had the same issue with my first few thousand games being a mess, not even knowing what a citadel was until I was T7. Business has talked about the lack of information for new players. But business videos and kami streams can teach so much. Im a little over 6500 games and my old stats are long gone and I maintain good numbers.

That said, clans are still pointless ATM. new features are on the war, but Im skeptical if its even going to be worth looking at until the new year once its growing pains are atleast realized.
I left my last clan awhile back, surprisingly enough, I get more divisions on the reddit teamspeak with half a dozen players than I ever did when I was with OPG and its +150 playerbase....Who the fuck has mandatory practices on a Sunday afternoon?

Im interested to see what clans will bring to the game and if its not a total clusterfuck, I may try to find a clan who can tolerate my sense of humor.

yeah i lost hope of ever seeing clan wars being added to the game.. the fact that it was some how to complicated to increase clan size limits over 30 pretty much said everything i needed to know.. i dunno maybe WG'ing will realize that the development team for WOWS doesn't have a clue what they're doing and brings in people that do but i just worry wows will go the way of world of planes did after they ran out of planes to release since there really wasn't anything left for the player base to do at that point.

i'll believe it when it happens.. they've been saying clan wars is coming since early on in closed beta, lol. but i hope it's true since the lack of clan wars is the only thing keeping me from playing the game anymore.
 
Guess we'll see how much Clan Wars matters soon enough. Personally, I don't think it'll be the saving grace everyone thinks it will be.

Nice vid dude :) lol VM_AIRraider(guy that got killed in smoke) and oldchop(his usual cohort) are 2 retards that I have had the misfortune of playing with. after 7000 games or more by now, they can't grasp basic game mechanics like radar and smoke.

Yeah I've been in matches with them consistently (that night in particular) and they're fucking awful.
 
Now for the wait.
Aside from the CVs, I not have every T10.

the Z52 guns have the best sound.
 
Ok, so my Bismark secondaries are now all the way out to 11.3km. Wow. How the fuck did that happen?
 
So... Bizmarkee secondary's plus all buffs equals silly brawler now? Honestly asking, don't play but love the clips here...

Wow. I didn't know that.

The Bismark is not a great BB in it's own right. The secondaries make it a truly fun, bad-ass brawling machine. It really fits my style.

Now, give me 5 second reloads and I'll have that player score up there in no time :)
 
lol that guy averages 5114 damage in the atago in 30 games...that's basically 1 halfway accurate salvo.

sounds like he doesn't know what HE is lol, only way that could remotely be possible..

nvm he's a CV player and a shitty one at that.. explains everything lol.
 
I went up against a conq in my gk a couple days ago..He was dropping 10k, 2 fires on me pretty much every salvo.. I turned out, had half my health left, had 76 dps of AA left..total. all my short and medium range AA was 0. And because he was angled I did about 10k total in several salvos. Just stupid, you can't do anything to them without basically sacrificing yourself.

yeah pretty much. except amplified even more. So now pretty much ever shitter battleship you see is flinging HE, even if it's german, ijn or us..

It depends. The Conq can pull those big salvos, but RNG be dammed, I have had some games where Im pulling 3k salvos instead of the 10-15k that it can have. Some games you get +20 fires, other games you get 2-3.
I play mine solo and as such, its so hard to push because the thing takes so much damage. Heal be great, but it means nothing when your pool shrinks so fast you dont get a chance to use it. A hindy with AP is your worst nightmare.

I ran into a CQB situation with my Conq vs an IFHE GK and the GK shredded me. I had to run like mad and a DD saved my ass, but still, that GK gave zero shits about my angle or armor.

i'm more talking about the tank.. the RNG on the GK was the worst out of all the BB's when it was released but RNG didn't matter when you could basically tank 900k damage a match while going straight down the middle of the map into the enemy team..

As impressive as the heal is, the initial health pool is so small and it takes so much damage, the conq cant take sustained fire for long. My hindy encountered an out of place conq the other day and cut him apart in zero time.
 
IMHO, CVs with 40% winrates should be banned from randoms. every match I get some window-licking retard.

Yep. Nothing more common than some guy who died without adding any value to the team to rail on and on in chat (after his death, of course) about how awful the team is and how great he is.
