The recent showcasing of Final Fantasy XV for the PC has gotten a lot of PC folks talking. The question of modding was to follow and the developers suggest that they will look into supporting it. Another question arose, what about nude mods? The director says "nude mods are up to the 'moral sense' of the community." There goes your answer for those who had any qualms, mod away! The game is scheduled for early 2018 on PC.

"This is part of the culture of gaming these days. These people -- it's a thing they've bought, it's their game now," he said. "I don't think it's a good thing, but we're going to leave it to the moral sense of all the players out there. I basically want, as a principle, to give as much freedom and as little limitations on it as possible."

While I highly enjoyed it, FFXV literally has zero female characters attractive enough to bother.

I'm a firm believer that games should allow mods and steam workshop compatibility. Not just for the slooty outfits, which will happen, but also because modders tend to build workarounds for bugs in game. Even Stardew Valley had mods that fixed irritating little problems when it first came out. Embracing the modding community is always good PR and is sure to increase it's sales. Shunning them can really hurt as well.

I'm betting the race has already started to make the first nude mod.

As RogueTadhg said its a win-win idea. Publicity of nude mods will bring in players, They'll probably ultimately ban nude mods for political correctness for more positive PR.

Can't wait to play with a 2 foot flaccid flopping dong and a mod that changes my name to Coctis

Single player game can be changed by person playing it... oh fucking no, stop the presses please lets not this egregious moral issues out into the wild... of a the person who's playing the game.
