Staring at this Asus ROG Zenith Extreme/1950x in the package wondering if I actually want to use it. Not really thrilled with buying a new non-native cooling solution. Also wondering if this non samsung b-die memory that was on the QVL list is going to perform. Anyone else have their TR completely stood up and enjoying it right now? If so which AIO/memory did you go with?

I have my motherboard, processor isnt coming until monday :( -- was going to pick it up myself, but they put it on a truck despite not delivering today

But I discovered my h115i corsair cooler wont fit on the top mounts of my Corsair 570x and am a bit miffed about that, currently using the front mounts, but the RGB fans up front kind of make the case, so not too sure what I'll do there, maybe low profile fans will fit or something or I'll go 360mm when corsairs new computex stuff comes out

In terms of memory I have 4x8gb g.skill flare x which is the samsung b, have everything ready to go I think except for some of the fan connections since I've moved things all around

I'm upgrading from an FX8150 and 7970, so it's quite a jump for me, wanting to get the asus pg27uq, but since it was delayed I'm thinking about connecting it up to an old 4:3 viewsonic or a tv as a stopgap solution

Wow that is going to be an awesome upgrade. Did you order the FlareX online? I actually live in DFW as well. Also how do you like the 570x? Was looking at buying that and the Kraken X62.

It's a nice looking case, the power supply shroud is a bit odd, and the top radiator has to be thinner or you'll run into what I ran into, but looking through the glass at the backing plate of the motherboard is really nice. I'm going m.2 drive only and no cd drive so it's a pretty clean setup without SATA power cables and such all over the place

I bought 2x8gb from newegg and was originally going to build a ryzen 1800x, after thread ripper came out I decided to return what I had and wait for it. So I begrudgingly bought another 2x8gb kit to complete the quad channel

Not cheap, but I want 3200mhz without hassle: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod...530&cm_re=flare_x_3200-_-20-232-530-_-Product

I forced my h115i into the top of my Corsair 570x.
