Yeah, I've got anger management issues. That said, shouldn't the PC actually respond when I type or hit the mouse?

Having just destroyed my fourth keyboard (due to aforesaid non-responsiveness), I'm asking for the community's help in recommending a wireless keyboard/mouse combo that actually work. And from further away from 5 feet. That doesn't require line of site to work. For when I'm sitting on the couch 12 feet away from PC.

I've never had any issue with any of the logitech unifying devices. My only "desktop" pc at home is hooked up to a 60" TV across my office for gaming. They work great for this.

Wireless is always going to be inherently unreliable due to interference, increasing distance and the m ore barriers between LoS just add the potential for issues. Can you connect the transmitting receivers to a USB extension cord and therefore position them into LoS?

What you can try is gaming optimized wireless devices from a major company, Logitech offers both a mice and keyboards for example. Typically wireless devices are more optimized for power savings (battery life) whereas gaming designed variants (not just branded) will have designs optimized for performance as opposed to battery life.

well the g900 chaos spectrum is the only mouse I have used that I wasnt able to tell it wasnt on a wire not a combo I know and the battery life is quite impressive

Logitech has plenty of mice, but I have yet to use a flawless wireless keyboard. I don't even know of any wireless mechanical keyboards with high rollover counts.
