Quote of the day, "I wish I could pretend it was supposed to do that." I hope he was not delivering a box of Threadrippers.

Check out the video.

Robotics developer Boston Dynamics debuted it's humanoid Atlas in a demo with another robot, Spot. At the end of the demo, Atlas fell walking off the stage to produce an epic fail!

HAHAHAHA! Even the robot was like " F this im out". I guess robots can get stage fright......

Not sure, but it seemed like the dude was manually controlling it and made it trip over that stage light. Either way still a pretty good demo and it's hard to fault it too much for hitting that stage light.

I'd be more concerned about robots like this

As for the other one. Spot. Compensating this quickly is quite amazing

It's all a ploy to throw us off. The Facebook AI bots worked it out in secret code so we wouldn't catch on.

ironic that they have that high tech robot jumping over hurdles and then the MIT students are pushing each other in the background in a black plastic box with caster wheels. ha.

I was thinking it just missed where the staircase down was behind the curtain but who knows.

Wait until the robots attempt to walk over a bush covered pit filled with metal spikes. ;)

Yeah, but that thing could be programmed to fall "on me" therefore pinning me down, so its compatriots can finish me off.
