Polygon has an in-depth look at the recently announced Guild Wars 2 expansion Path of Fire. Five years after its initial release, this will be the second paid expansion for the free-to-play MMORPG. Following the first expansion Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire plans for the bigger and better with larger areas, 9 new elite specializations for each profession, and a heavier focus on mounts. The release date is scheduled for September 22.
