Prime Day Starts TODAY - 7/10/17

Be aware - I had a couple of deals on items I have bought previously as a Watched item, but checking the deal price versus the price I paid previously, it was the same. Make sure to check something like camelcamelcamel for price history because it appears they may be listing "deals" that are actually close to regular Amazon pricing.
 
I picked up Sennheiser IE80 for $180, usually see them at around $205.

Probably overkill for me because I literally only use head/earphones at the gym or when riding my motorcycle both of which put some heavy wear-n-tear on them.

the western digital 1TB blue drive is $40 today which is a very reliable drive and non-seagate, single platter

price is finally what they were three years ago again
 
oh and dash buttons are $1 again with the $5 activation credit (you don't actually have to buy the item the button triggers)

so if you want wifi hackable buttons and slowly "make money" there you go

you cannot stack the $5 credits and they are only good on sold-by-amazon items so for every one you buy, you'll need to make a amazon order by end of the year I think, so don't go nuts ordering 100 buttons, maybe a handful

Columbia Royce Peak shorts. They're a slightly stretchy synthetic canvas-type material. Amazon's listings and pricing for them are a bit goofy. The Peat Moss color recently appeared on their own page for $25, cheaper than all of the others. The color I like, Tusk, is easier to match when wearing outside of hiking and are $29 instead of the usual $40.

Got a couple of Dots, QQChocolate BT speaker, Phillips Hue White and Color Ambiance starter kit plus a DXRacer chair that was not on sale sigh, but went on and signed up for Prime rewards card for $80 off. I spend so ungodly much money on Amazon it was way overdue to start getting some cash back.

Picked up the K70 LUX RGB (Cherry Brown) and the Firecuda 2TB SSHD. Not bad.
 
I ordered a Bag of Crap from Amazon (Woot). I know I will likely be getting junk but for $10 plus tax, it isn't going to hurt my bank account for a small chance to get something great. My last BoC was easily worth more than I paid for it, but not much more.
 
I'm done buying stuff on the net unless it's shoes or supplements I can't get locally finding size 16 4E shoes locally doesn't happen.

Picked up the HD 7 for $29.99 for my son. That is a no-lose right there....couldn't justify the 3 pack for $79.99 to save $10 :eek::D
 
Bigger than black Friday my ass! Like everyone else already stated, just a hyped event for them to sell off their leftover crap that nobody wants.
 
I bought a PS4 Slim so I can have Tekken 7 parties with my drinking friends.

Well I always thought black friday was because the tax year was nearing it's end and holiday season was approaching. That all companies wanted to liquidate what they could at as low as they could to finalize losses and profits before the new tax year began. And because all companies do it you tend to find AWESOME deals every where. Where as the Amazon thing seems more like a ordinary sale. But I doubt that's even why they do Black Friday lol... However Black Friday deals are way better then what was found among prime deals


That aside, I was hoping they would put the fire sticks on sale! I need 2 and I was hoping to get them for $20 each like last year : (

Except it goes on for two weeks it feels like.. Black Friday week, then Cyber Monday week.. I have found some decent deals in that two week span but it gets exhausting scouring through all the stuff every day.. lol.

I wear a 16W. You should check to see if you have a DXL nearby. I've gotten Rockports there for $50-60 when they retail for $130+.
