I have been watching this thread in the HotDeals forum for a couple of weeks now. Some enterprising capitalists have found a way around the mining craze that is running up GPU prices in the last month or so, in order to get their hands on cards or cash, or both. While individual video card prices are in the stratosphere, fully built systems have not be heavily impacted by this due to purchasing agreements set up months in advance by system builders. Buy that fully built system, part it out on Ebay, reap the rewards of free hardware or cash.

Customize to your heart's content, but add the free upgrade to RX470, and then buy a second one for an additional $119. That's key to getting about $600 to $650 back of the purchase price by selling both RX470 on Ebay for $325 each (inflated prices due to the miner craze).

Mine will be here in a week. One question I asked but didn't get an answer to is wouldn't the cards carry full manufacturer warranty (I'll be pulling them as soon as I know the unit works)?

I figured I'd include the registration cards for the new buyer.

I remember when the floods hit a few years ago I was getting my HDDs via buying pre filled NAS boxes as the greedy retailers had forgotten about those.

This is so great!

I blew half of my pc slush fund on various pick ups for my kids' systems so sadly I will just read all about it and not get to be all about it. Good luck to all who are giving it a shot. :)

Just a heads up. As Kyle already reported, Polaris card resale value about to plummet, because their mining ability is going to plummet soon. Make sure to flip the cards fast, if deal still available.

lol got any sauce on that because people have been saying Ethereum pos will happen shortly since November

Prices may plummet for the short term, like they did when GPU mining ceased to exist for Bitcoin. The thing is people get bored fast and look for the next thing to pump up. That was LTC, DOGE and ETH. Prices for cards, even the older ones, flew back up. Some other coin will get inflated beyond belief, miners will rejoice, card prices will skyrocket again.
