Where are the AM4 ITX boards?

Nice, I see they went with x370 too.

They also announced the Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac motherboard, but no pics or specs on that yet...

Might be the way to go to save a few bucks though; match it up with:

AMD Ryzen R5 1600 CPU
AMD Wraith Spire CPU cooler (non-LED version)
16GB G.Skill FlareX DDR4 RAM (2 @ 8GB DIMMs / 3200 / CAS 14)
Samsung 960 EVO M.2 SSD (500GB / 2280 / PCIe 3.0 x4 / NVMe)
RX Vega Nano (8GB HBM2)

I feel this would make a pretty decent little gaming & streaming workstation...!

URgh! Hurry up manufacturers and release them mITX boards!!!

I couldn't wait any longer. Doing a matx 1700x build.

Well, at least you can do some dual GPU CrossFire action...

I am going to wait for the ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac, expecting it available before Vega...

I dont need dual GPUs. But I did like the fact that I get 4 dimm slots instead of 2, and can add a few add in cards should I choose. I got one of the smaller mATX cases but it still doesn't compare to ITX. That being said, the CM 130 elite I used to have wasn't really small. The EVGA Hadron I had was, and I never got a build into that thing.

ITX can still do 4 SODIMMs. Plus it hasn't stopped me from populating my Xeon on the Asrock ITX with 64Gb of RAM :)

I know ITX can do 4 dimms, but the only am4 itx board I can get my hands on right now has 2, and I haven't trusted biostar to make a solid product ever.

I'm just waiting to move my 1700x into an itx w my 980ti and then I will dedicate it my Oculus Rift and living room TV.

Then my main box will be threadripper w 2x Vega top o da lines.

I am hoping the ASRock Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac shows up soon, maybe even at Microcenter as I am keeping my fingers crossed for the 100$ bundle discount on the 1700x :). I am a huge fan of my Evga Hadron Air and would like to up it to an 8c16t and 32GB of ram :). The only problem I have with the Hadron is my ACX 2 980ti does not get a lot of fresh air and heats up quite a bit with the side panel on, so I was hoping for a blower style deal on a 1070 / maybe a Vega GPU assuming the mining craze does not jack up the prices like crazy. Although not sure if dropping the max tdp of the GPU 80w or so would really make any difference.

Took time but finally Asrock got those ITX out. Lets see when they hit the shops, very few ITX mobos atm.

This is what a Dremel is for "-)

Yeah I'm digging selling my CH 6 and going ITX.

I need my big ass Caselabs th10 for threadripper in a few months.

Lol not sure what I cold Dremel on the hadron, a blower style cooler / lower tdp gpu maybe for the GPU would help. . I did swap out the 40 mm PSU fan withe noticua ones, to make it way quieter.

Yeah I was just joking.

It is a nice ase but I am NOT a fan of the integrated and proprietary PSU on that thing.

Gigabyte GA-AB350N-Gaming WIFI is already on sale in Taiwan, only limited to 1 store at the moment. US should follow soon, hopefully.

Yeah and I might be able to get one next year here in Australia :-(

the second the Gigabyte board goes live, im buying one. I have my entire system here and ready, Waiting on the ITX board. Im not buying the biostar because of its lack of bluetooth+wifi. Im a huge couch gamer and those built in are very important to me.

Same here. It's on sale in Korea, but not in the US yet.

They just did that on X299? crazy...

Yeah that thing is crazy with it's quad channel SODIMM slots.

We can expect this for Threadripper(hoping?)???

But ... I want to run multi-gpu (possibly) so I may forgo getting ITX Threadripper. I am def getting ITX for my 1700x and then selling my crosshair VI board.

I got the ASROCK AB350 Gaming-ITX/ac on preorder ..should ship soon .
Ended up with Vengeance LPX DDR 3200 v5.39 16GB , the CRYORIG H7 Quad Lumi, Lian Li Q10WX and a R5 1600X .

Thinking of hedging my mem bets with some TEAM Dark Pro DDR 3200 16GB CL14 (samsung b?) or if the x370 Asrock board comes available will grab that too . Grabbing some ML 120 Pro LED fans for a push pull and may end up using in all the case holes

The Gigabyte board does not have the S/PDIF Optical audio and wanted that ..

I planned on just writing a quick write up with how it OC'd, how the unique layout is and such. I wouldnt mind being the next BitWit though, Would be a dream come true lol

Those guys literally have trucks pulling up with hardware every day !

Any way looking forward to the review as you are on the ground floor on this !

ANSZ: any plans for X370 ITX boards?

No but hopefully we get some headway on the X300 chipset. But it really feels like collective amnesia right about now.

Here's a pretty good review of the Gigabyte AM4 ITX board.

OC3D Youtube Review

They test the 1500x, 1600x, and 1800x and make note of the max vrm temperature using three different cooling configurations.

They found the vrm heatsink to be a bit inadequate and the voltage regulation for the vcore to be pretty loose. (Setting vcore to 1.35 would end up with a vcore of 1.41 when stressed)

I loaded up the Asrock AB350 Gaming ITX and am very happy with my budget oc .

So far my RYZEN 5 1600X is running rock solid at 3950 , with small offset v and ram is at 3066 cs15 ..so couldn't be happier . The RAM is the Corsair Vengeance LPX v5.39 and shows to be single rank SK Hynix under the hood

Have not found load line calibration in the UEFI yet ..there is no F7 shift with the OC tweaker .

Hey Ken what kind of cooling and what kind of temps are you seeing on VRMs and motherboard

Was only watching the cpu temps ..can put it under load tonight with RealBench ..what HWINFO64 field do you wish me to look at ..and with 1600X is its temp 20 degrees off too?

My cooling is one of the new CRYORIG H7 Quad Lumi with stock fan ..will be shoehorning the parts into a Lian Li Q10WX this evening and adding some ML 120 Pro LED RED to the case and that should help chipset since I am using tower instead of downdraft .
