I have a mid 2010 MacBook that i just replaced the whole palmrest because the keyboard had went bad. No problems, everything works great but now the battery wont charge unless i do a pram reset. It sat for almost a year with the battery disconnected. The battery has about 360 cycles on it and as far as i can tell its original to the device. I used it for about 2h on batt last night and it only got down to 60% so best i can tell the battery is aok. It just charges to 99% and then the magsafe starts blinking green, but solid green when the machine is on. Any ideas? The power brick is genuine apple.

If you stored the battery correctly (that is to say at around roughly 50%) before pulling the battery, then the battery should be fine.

Generally speaking though, most people don't know how to store a battery probably. That's not an insult. Just truth.

Because honestly this sounds like a bad battery. I'm sure there's a lot of wrecked cells. Improper charging. It just drops out. Etc. If you want to know 100%, go to an Apple store and get it checked out.

press option and click on the battery icon. what does the battery condition say?
