Origin Update Introduces FPS Counter, Cross-Party Invites

Those of you who have opted in to Origin betas should find a new client version for download offering three new features: download speed management, a framerate monitor, and cross-party invites. While they are pretty self-explanatory, the team has uploaded some videos to give players an idea of how to access them. I am pretty sure that Steam has had these features for years, but at least Origin is making a clear effort of catching up.

I dislike using non-steam clients.

But I remember when steam was a steaming pile in the days in the client's army-green skin.

An fps counter? OMG! bioware is the best. Now when I encounter game breaking bugs and glitches I can just say: Hey at least I have a cool fps counter!

The program has matured quite a bit, but I miss the army green color!
