I have an Intel motherboard (DG31 PR) which has its inbuilt Realtek ALC888 codec .The board has its own spdif out header for getting 5.1 optical sound.I have connected SPDIF Bracket having SPDIF optical and RCA port on this spdif header .But No sound is coming from this port.I have windows 7 ultimate loaded in my PC.I have updated all sort of latest drivers. But no sound. The SPDIF bracket is working perfectly. On checking I found a very peculiar problem with REALTEK HD AUDIO manager.Actual ly it should show the DIGITAL PORT as shown below.

But in my PC’s Realtek HD AUDIO MANAGER it is not at all showing DIGITAL port as shown below.

I have checked everything (even bios also). But analog audio is perfectly OK.Please help me to get digital optical jack in my REALTEK HD AUDIO MANAGER

Wrong section!

I've had better luck using the Windows drivers rather than realtek drivers. Maybe uninstall the drivers and just let Windows install them on its own?
