best Budget cpu is cheaper and cooler

From what I've read, the Cryorig M9i (or M9a for AMD) performs comparably to the 212 EVO. It's only [$18 on eBay](http://www.ebay.com/itm/302296988158), and when it used to have free shipping on Newegg, it was only $20. I still like the 212 EVO when I'm testing X99 boards, since it was one of the cheapest options for the 2011 socket, but still had reasonable cooling capability.

Ive built with hundreds of Hyper212 based coolers over my career, and they really are amazing for the price. Whisper quiet and competent enough to do stock-voltage OCing, I try to put them in as minimum for any gaming-oriented build.

I do presale's system configurations for clients (I've done thousands) and due to the vast availability and low price, these coolers are my #1 go to. The prices and availability of other coolers always fluctuate, or they only stick around a year or two and then disappear. I approve.

Like 2 months back they had the hyper 212 evo in their email deals for $15 shipped. No rebate or anything, but they where factory refurb units. Not bad though if you don't like mail in rebates. I have seen the same deal once before, I'm sure they will do it again eventually

Going to have to look into this. Are there AM4 brackets? If so how does it mount? Cryorig tried to fuck me by sending me a broken unit (purchased new from their Amazon store) and then the lied and claimed they were shipping AM4 mounting kits. Turns out they don't exist. They were only willing to do a partial refund, but instead tried to charge me another $16 or so with no replacement product, mounting kit or anything included. So fuck Cryorig. Reviews showed the Hyper 212 to be inferior, but maybe Cooler Master aren't scam artist bastards like Cryorig and actually have working products that they don't shove up their anus at the factory. So I will have to look into it again. Did I mention someone needs to kill those scam artist bastards at Cryorig yet? :p

I've got a Cryorig H7 on my 880K using a Rosewill Hyperborea fan. Works great! (No overclock though, my boards VRMs run hot enough already)
