Why no DVD bays on front, Mid Towers??

15GB / 90 minutes = 10GB/Hr = 1GB / 6 Minutes = 100 MB / 36 seconds = ~3MB / Second.....

I'm calling shenanigans on this not being streamable....

Please keep in mind:
1. Not all of us have 100mb cable or internet.
2. Comcast, AT&T and many others have data caps now.

So, no. It really isn't.

Once 4K becomes more mainstream--that won't make sense either.

that is absolutely network streamable at 1gbps, with tons of room to spare.

Hell high-end wifi will do it, too!

Network streamable...yes. Internet streaming is what I was talking about.

3MB/s = 24mbps, so a 40mbps service would be plenty to do that reliably, barring congestion.

Caps suck, yes. That's a thing.

Doesn't change the fact that normal users don't need optical drives most of the time anymore. For what you're after, a good plex server with a single optical drive would serve as all you need for your whole network.

4K isn't meant to be internet streamed most of the time. Netflix has got a great workaround currently, even if the selection is highly limited.
