Corsair Refurb sale Strafe cherry mx 49.99

Grabbed a red strafe, thanks! Still feeling out the kind of switches I want to game/live with and figured cherry reds were worth trying out.

I have 3 Red Keyboards, they're a great middle of the road key, not to hard, and not too loud.

Site is running slow for me, hard to check out.
 
Had one thing these and returned it. Absolutely hated the fonts on that keyboard.

I have a Strafe Red with Red switches and absolutely love it for typing and gaming. For $50 I picked one up as a spare.
 
FYI this isn't a sale. Corsair has these same prices on their refurbs all year round. Picked up a K65 RGB, K70 RGB, and two VOID headsets from this place over the last 6 months and these are the exact prices both then and now.

As for my experience, I've had generally positive experiences with Corsair refurbs. Although the keyboards arrived in immaculate condition, one of my VOID headsets was nearly DOA out of the box and the volume wheel was physically jammed. The packaging was fantastic, so it must have dodged their QA (assuming they do that for refurbs). In the end, I got a working replacement for the broken headset... followed by another working replacement. Yup, they sent me 3 for the price of 2.

Is the only difference between the Strafe and Strafe RGB the RGB colors? I can't see anything else different except $50 to $100
 
anyone have experience with Strafe vs Rapidfire cherry red? I just ordered a rapidfire on amazon for 99.99 but hasnt shipped yet.

I have used the rapidfire, its a good keyboard. However, I think you'd be better off saving $50 with the Strafe as they appear to be very similar.

I'm very into competitive FPS so even a slight advantage with faster click actuation... i would like the edge hah.

I used a strafe, which I ordered about 6 months ago from them as a refurb. It's a great deal, no nonsense/frills keyboard. Don't expect anything fancy and the software is a pain to figure out for the lights. My only real complaint is that you can't really lock the function key for the media controls, so you either have to reprogram them in the software or use the function key every time.
