MS Flight Sim x question\help

I play Ms flight sim x and have a add on called Flight Deck 6 made by Abacus. It supports ms flight sim x and installed it but not sure where or how to get to fly or land on the aircraft carrier or even find it in the folder it defaults to the folder of ms flight sim x so not sure what im doing wrong. Plz help me Tankies in Advanced

Do you use the Steam Edition? If so, try reinstalling the addon but manually point it to where Steam installed it to, Abacus website says Flight Deck 6 is a 2009 product, so it might have only installed to the pre-Steam default folder.

no its not the steam edition full copy from MS retail version........

Do you have Acceleration installed?

Steam existed for years before 2009.

But FSX wasnt put on steam until December 2014, FSX had long been neglected by Microsoft by then before Dovetail Games bought the rights to it, When FSX was put on Steam, Dovetail Games did some work on it to make it more optimized for modern computer hardware, As some minor work was done to FSX, It broke the way some addons worked within FSX and from the looks of it, Flight Deck 6 was released and never updated after.
