I find it hard to call these reviews "leaks" when you can purchase the hardware easily online. I bought two 1400 and two 1600 last week. This YouTuber seen below runs the Ryzen 5 1400 through some paces compater to a G4650 using an RX480. He also has another video up now that shows him using the GTX 1060.

That's all pretty cool, but it doesn't make me want to jump off of my i5 3550k @ 4.2ghz. So I guess its a case if new build looks like an interesting choice, but upgrading from anything i5 or faster and it's not an option. Oh well.

Go amd! Still 1000X better than bulldozer.

But Kyle, ebay not a retail store and have you gotten both of your Ryzen 5 Processor in your hand from that seller ? as last I heard was you said shipment verification which doesn't mean anything in tell leave the shipping warehouse facility from who ever the shipping carrier is.
Also the seller is in Atlanta, Georgia by to 2 major shipping channel which go to Atlanta which has a boat load of major distributing hubs for the east coast area my guest is that he or she know some one so able get a few first hand.

Ryzen 5 1400 is looking really, really good. :) Mind you, I prefer the 1700 and 1700X, my friend will be doing a R5 1600 but, this is an excellent chip for budget builds well being very fast. This chip, a good B350 board and an RX470 or 480 would make a really good gaming computer.

Edit: This is the first time in a long time I have truly been excited about new computer hardware. :) I would have no issues building a computer with this CPU for myself if I needed too. In fact, although I am not going to buy one, I am going to go windows shopping online anyways. :)

Ah, I thought it meant a Ryzen 5 had a 1400MHz overclock.
Not even April 1st and was fooled, doh!

Wow! The RX480 with the 1400 slaughters the 1060 it appears, the 1060 makes the 1400 look slow while the RX 480 does much better. Looks like maybe Nvidia needs to optimize now for RyZen as well.

Are there mini-itx boards out yet?

Can someone enlighten me in two things?

One, what is the possible reason why Ryzen cant oc past 4GH?

Two, what is the differences between the Z and B chipsets?

PCIe Bifurcation.

Building a HTPC with a GTX 1060; waiting on the Ryzen 5 1400 to see if I should get that or an Intel i5. So far looks pretty decent but I'll wait for the [H] review.

that ryzen 5 video shows that cpu load is only 60-70% compared to 98% on Intel i5.

I wonder what would happen if ryzen were able to utilize all of its cpu power

It would be maxed out for no reason.

Is the 1600 a 6 core 12 thread CPU? If so I think this may be better for me as an upgrade than the 1700 series.

Why is the i5 7400 running the RX-480 at 10 watts higher then every other CPU?
Showing same/slightly higher temps, but card is using 10 watts more. What gives? Something is wrong here.

OC on the card is the only explanation I came up with.
Yikes! WTF is wow! WOW

Is it me or did that G4560 kick some serious ass in that video for being a 60-70 dollar chip?

The G4560 is also showing 5-10 watts higher on the gfx card. This clearly shows that they upped the power profile for the two Intel tests to skew results in favor of Intel. Garbage underhanded tactics.
