I have an old build that needs a new PSU.

2600K, 1 HDD, 1 ssd, gtx 560ti. 8gb ddr.

Need a basic PSU that will do the job. Somewhat modular is nice because it reduces clutter.

Doesnt need to be terribly cheap, but nothing fancy. Just need something reliable that works.

Seasonic G-series 550w. $60 AR on both Newegg and Amazon.

100$ CAD...

Maybe I should have kept the 9 year old antec tx-750 that was still working instead of trashing it...

Where can you buy from?

The EVGA 600B on NCIX is a viable option for you. So is the Seasonic S12II 520w.

Why did you trash it? I'm still on a 1st gen Corsair TX750 that's been doing just fine since I was running a Q6600 and a 8800GT

I don't know, I just figured that I would trash the whole computer, and then I decided to keep some parts, and then I decided to keep the whole computer for accessory tasks.

ncix.ca, amazon.ca

Well, the EVGA B series are good for the job. Built a couple PCs on those, like 2-3 years ago, still going good.

Found a seasonic s12ii-520 bronze on ncix that had a big rebate on it, cost 60$ cad. Should do the job nicely plus its seasonic so i kind of trust that.

520w is probably plenty enough for a 2600k with a 660ti with just one ssd and 3 fans
