I'm starting a new build soon and I need some advice! For the case I'm doing a 900D but for the motherboard I dunno wether to go with the Maximus ix extreme with a 7700k or go with the rampage 10th anniversary board and the extreme i7 for it?

thanks but not helpful!

my question was about mobo and cpu!

I'm going to be gaming, video editing and rendering.

I want to do a 2 loop system!

My budget is $15k

I already firgured out the whole thing just don't know which cpu/mobo combo to go with!

case: corsair 900D
psu: corsair ax1500i
ram: corsair vengeance 32gb kit rgb
gpu: dual titan x pascals
ek waterblocks
bitspower components
aquero 6xt

The questions may not be helpful for you, but they help us tailor our responses and our recommendations to your needs.

With your budget, however, the sky's the limit on what you could pursue. With video editing and rendering as two of your primary tasks, you could go with the i7-6950X and a good X99 board like the Asus X99-DELUXE II. (I chose that particular board because it has built-in RGB LEDs similar to your RAM.) That said, do you really want to spend all of your budget? If not, you can "pare down" to one of the following alternate builds:

$840 - Intel Core i7-6850 (six-core) and Gigabyte GA-X99A-Ultra Gaming (rev 1.0)
$650 - AMD Ryzen 7 1800X (eight-core) and Asus Prime 370X-Pro

But again, you could easily go with my first recommended pairing.

I almost forgot: DUAL Titan X Pascals?

Have you read the news? The GTX 1080 Ti is faster yet cheaper than the Titan X.

While we're on the same subject, what specific set of Corsair Vengeance RAM are you buying?

I have rethought my whole setup!

I'm going with
asus rog Maximus ix extreme
Caselabs ma8 with pedestal
2 1080 ti
Intel 7700k
And corsair rgb ram

All water cooled with 2 loops! 16mm hard tubing! I have also decided on a 2tb m.2 drive!

I changed them!
And corsair rgb ram now!

$15,000 budget? Is this a joke?

Dude, if you're spending $15k on a computer you need to reevaluate your priorities lol. If you're going all out, spend maybe $5k max which would literally build you the sickest computer around. Save the other $10k for something else more important.

I am letting singularity computers build it now, thanks

*Sigh* ... And that's why we ask the sticky questions, ladies and gentlemen.

I need to ask one of those questions again: What monitor (or monitors) are you using for gaming?

You're spending $15K on a computer that shouldn't cost you more than $3K. I agree with Skillz and Nirad9er that you're beyond overkill on this system.

And Singularity Computers... I just checked their site and they're based in Australia. Do you live in the U.S.? If yes, why can't you build your machine yourself?

I'm in the us and I have thought long and hard about all of this! I can build my own system! I'm seriously thinking about dialing it down a little bit! As for monitor I'm going with the rog swift pg348q!

I want a good rog z270 board for overclocking! I would like it to have at least 1 m.2 slot!

You don't need to spend over $300 for a good overclocker-friendly Z270 motherboard.

But I thought that you were going to game, edit video, and render with this machine. Which task is your priority?

I did already

If you're gonna ask us to build/list a PC for you or seek advice about a build, please answer all of the following questions:

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
6) Will you be overclocking?
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

No, you didn't.

Answer the sticky questions please and thank you.
I did already

Here's what we know:

1) You're using the computer for gaming, video editing, and rendering.
2) You have a $15K budget.
3) You live in the U.S., but you never told us the city and state that you live in. (That's important if you want to save money, but not so important to you since you're willing to buy everything online.)
4) It appears that you need nearly everything...
5) ... But you've made no mention about storage, power supply, monitor, or other peripherals. Are you buying everything new? Are you reusing some things from your old build?
6) You've chosen some top-of-the-line parts, but I don't know how far you plan on pushing your overclocking.
7) You said that you're going for the Asus ROG PG348Q.
8) I'd say right now, but we've been at this for the past couple of weeks.
9) Outside of "ROG board" and overclocking, you didn't say anything about motherboard features.
10) Nor did you mention the OS.

You also ignored question 11, which was my question about your priority:

But I thought that you were going to game, edit video, and render with this machine. Which task is your priority?

I believe that you're overspending in the wrong areas. I've tried to be nice and avoid the direct route, but we're no closer to reaching a satisfying conclusion than we were when we started.

Do you want a gaming PC, a rendering PC, or a video-editing PC?

He had to have meant $1500.
Budgeting $15,000 even for a high-end home computer does not compute.

Confusion by a power of 10.
