I am not finding much for reviews on Ryzen cooling.

Any multi-cooler comparisons out there?

I know the great motherboard shortage of '17 is causing a great deal of data starvation, still some MOBOs were airlifted in to feed the most desperately hungry.

Please, any Ryzen, up and running [H] persons, what is your cooler? how is it working for you?

Thanks!

Whatever worked before will work again so long as it has an AM4 mount. It will be roughly the same delta as Intel or previous AMD chips.

Cheap Air? Cooler Master 212

High end Air? The biggest Noctua cooler that will fit in your case.

AIO? Corsair 240 / 280.

Custom Water? You'd know the answer to all of this and some.

Not enough motherboards or coolers out there yet?

Probably talking about AM4 mounts.

Anyone worth their money already has one.

Motherboard supply may be scarce outside of North America. I don't know.

Motherboard supply is scare INSIDE North America. There was very little available - especially on the high end - when I was placing an order today.

i think some of it has to do with the recent findings that the reported cpu temps are incorrect and as much as 20C lower then the reported temp which is making it hard to do a comparison if you don't actually know what the cpu temp is. if AMD doesn't fix it you might see reviewers shifting back to the older hardware temp readings that [H] use to do with the sensor embedded in the IHS. but if the 20C theory is correct pretty much any aftermarket heat sink that was recommended before for the last 3 generations of intel processors will work just fine with ryzen as long as it has the correct bracket.

this is the only comparison ive seen and is very limited. cheap air, bigger air and 240 aio

I went the budget route and got a Gigabyte GA-AB350-Gaming 3 paired with a Ryzen 1700 and a Noctua NH-D15 from jet.com. It was a choice between that, the Asus Prime X370-Pro or the MSI B350 Tomahawk since these were the ones in stock at Amazon and Newegg. In the end, I went with the Gigabyte primarily because it was on the G.Skill Flare X's QVL. I found a MSI X370 Titanium for $360 at Amazon but was unwilling to pay the current price gouging rate. The Asus Rog Crosshair VI Hero was no where to be found but would be around the same price as the Titanium.

I'd also like to get a GTX 1080 TI card but the same supply problems exist for it unless you want to pay $125 or more above retail.

What did you order?

From what site?

TY BTW.

The price gouging is unreal with this.

Flippers are bad enough in MMO's. In the real world.....

Still waiting and looking for one of a few boards I have picked out.
