For sale. (Note: I work nights and sleep during the day at all hours. If I don't get back to you right away that's why.:))

Complete SFF Dell Inspiron slim PC (4th Gen)

Specs:
  • i3-4170 3.7Ghz Haswell CPU
  • 4GB DDR3 1600MHz
  • PNY GT 730 1GB GDDR5 graphics
  • 1TB 3.5" internal HDD
  • Windows 7 x64 installed
  • Lite-On DVD-R/W 16x
I purchased this to be my personal gaming PC, however, I discovered that the Inspirons have the x16 PCI-E slot on the far right (unlike the Optiplex) which limits it to single-slot cards only. It still makes a great mini HTPC, multimedia desktop, or light gaming system (Minecraft, Rocket League, Blizzard games, most MOBAs). Mint condition.

Price: $175 buyer pays shipping costs

Bundle of PC Parts

Rather than selling each of these separately I'm going to try and sell them together as a bundle for a better price. The bundle includes:

  • G4400 3.3Ghz S1151 CPU
  • i5-3350P 3.1/3.3Ghz Turbo S1155 (Ivy Bridge)
  • 2GB 2133 Samsung DDR4 SODIMM stick (bought for the ASRock DeskMini but later changed my mind)
Price: $100 non-CC PayPal for all 3. That's $40 for the G4400, $50 for the i5-3350P, and $10 for the 2GB DDR4. Shipping is free.

Trades: Mainly looking for a T-Mobile/MetroPCS Galaxy S4/S5 or similar smartphone.

Just a thought, but if you still wanted to make that Inspiron into a gaming system, you could find a mITX board and swap it out for the Dell board. You do have to pay attention to where the 24 pin power connector is on the aftermarket board (due to the Dell PSU having a very short "reach"), and you'll need one with 2 USB2 front headers if you want to have the front USB ports as well as the SD card reader both working (and you won't have front USB3 ports), but if I recall, the rest has fairly standard connectors. I forget what the situation was with the power switch, but I think it might be at worst a matter of de-pinning the power header block.

That's actually a pretty good idea, thank you, but unfortunately it's a little too late because I've already purchased a G4620 ITX DDR4 combo haha. The only other issue I had with this was I'm pretty sure that the standoffs on the Dell don't line up to ITX? Standoffs would have to be tabbed which is a PITA?

Anyhow thanks for the feedback! :D

Bumpity!

Is the Dell Inspiron still available and which version of Windows 7 is on it?

It's pending a trade deal with PurpleHippo which if doesn't go through I can notify you. Should know in the next 24 hours.

LMK if you want to trade the dell for a 4TB Western Digital Red Pro HDD. It's 1 month old....

What's the model number or service tag number?

I personally have no use for a 4TB HDD sorry. The service tag number is GDJVV52.
