Anyone have any experience with the HEATKILLER® IV for TITAN X (Pascal) GPU card vs EK Titan XP block? Currently have a 1080 and doing step up to 1080 TI. really like the look of the heatkiller block vs the EK one but havent really seen anything about the IV block in performance vs EK.

As a side question anyone know if you can buy the metal cover on the Heatkiller block separate? I would really like to get a copper version but have the black cover like this one HeatKiller Iv Titan X Nickel- BL

Thanks

I have the EK block and can confirm that performance is awesome. if I turn up my fans a little I can keep my overclocked Pascal Titan at 32C during full load.

I can't speak for HeatKiller blocks at all. I've never tried one.

I've been using Watercool blocks (CPU, GPU and mobo chipset) for over 7 years and the cooling performance has always been topnotch. Their customer service has been awesome and I've had them accomodate special requests on more than one occasion. Give them a call (they speak English). It wouldn't surprise me if they assemble a non-standard full cover block for you.

Did either of you order from watercool.de site? Trying to find out if there are any other fees or charges to deliver to US

I've ordered directly from them in the past but now usually order through Aquatuning (www.aquatuning.us). Free two-day shipping from Germany and no additional import fees. All orders from outside the EU automatically have VAT/sales taxes deducted. They mainly sell Alphacool products (they're owned by Alphacool) and also stock all of Watercool's product line. Fantastatic and fast service, very competitive prices, often cheaper than US sellers. I highly recommend them.

Thanks for the tip, I actually had looked around at a few other stores but ended up going watercool directly because they made a custom order for me. Wanted copper block with a black cover instead of silver.

Glad it worked out for you. As I mentioned in my first post, they're really good about accomodating reasonable custom requests.
