Once again an OEM does its best to make sure that the AMD chip will run like shit. 4GB of RAM, not upgradeable, and almost certainly in single-channel configuration...Why even make this thing in the first place?

One site says this chip's performance is only comparable to Braswell. At 25 W, how can that be?
Our benchmark results look promising compared to other AMD models but struggles to keep up with Intel's budget Pentium N3700 solution found on really low-end machines.
I will stand correct if I am wrong. However I think you incorrect to blame the OEM for the single memory channel. Isn't that an inherent feature of this APU?

Wondering if the RAM is actually soldered on to the motherboard.

am i missing something ? i seen it mentions on qualifying PC purchase of 399 or more

i have some C2D laptops running windows 7. i would love swap.

Does it run cool enough for what it does? I wonder how thermal performance* compares to Ivy Bridge or Sandy Bridge.
*I don't know how to name what I am talking about. Performance per thermochemical gram calorie?

Ugh, I hadn't realized that. After reviewing the spec sheet for the CPU, you are correct. This must be the new E1/E2 garbage CPU on the stack...
