I'm going to start building a retro computer, and I would love to find a plain looking beige full-tower ATX case. Yes, one of those ~3ft tall beasts from the early 2000's.
I have searched eBay about as good as I'm able (haven't bought from there in 10+ years). I've done the same thing on local Craigslist as well. I've even sent emails to a couple of electronic scrap yards in case they happen to have one lying around.
I've been able to locate most of the parts for this build. I just don't want to start buying parts if I have nowhere to put them.

Can you find oldish Lian Lis?

I'm not sure on the model numbers on the classic ones, but that may help searching on ebay or something.

I always wanted one of these back in the day

Would you be willing to let it go to a good home?

I mis-spoke. That one is actually sitting 15 feet away from me in the next room doing duty as my file server right now. But I've been meaning to replace it with another case that I have. Maybe I'll do that this week.

I also have an Antec SX-630 (a couple inches shorter) and an Antec SX-830 (same size as the one above, no door). But I'm afraid I don't have the boxes like I thought. I must have gotten rid of the boxes figuring I'd give away the cases locally or take them to the recycler. If you're anywhere near Fort Collins, Colorado, you're welcome to them.

not a bad deal for someone who wants to build a ?retro server?. I would consider it, but the only thing I would use out of that would be the case.

I totally just pulled my In Win Q500 from the basement yesterday and then found this thread today. Of course, I painted the case black years ago.

I'm going to have to put this project on the back burner for now. I've had some unexpected expenses come up.
