If you enjoy seeing malware suspects cuffed, on the floor, and in their underwear, have we got one for you!

Russian police just completed their second wave of arrests in a coordinated action to move on the Lurk malware gang, allegedly responsible for using a botnet to target corporate accounts at financial institutions and make off with 1.7 billion roubles (approximately $25 million).

Reportedly of 50 previously arrested, 19 have already been jailed. Isn't it amazing how quickly the legal process can work without due process?

Some 50 alleged gang members had already been arrested last summer during raids that led to the seizure of over 90 items of computer hardware, nearly 4.5 million roubles, and some arms.

I'd like to see them do this to the guy who makes so many different versions of fake antivirus malware.

Wow...that was actually kinda crazy looking. I mean, one guy was rifling through papers and also writing on them. Do hackers really have reams of hand-written papers lying everywhere?! Why would it be the job of the tactical team to also muck around with all the evidence?! Weird video. It seemed to be designed to 'scare' rather than foster security, or an assurance of due diligence to the public. It also seems kinda fake and full of bravado...which is weird because they are talking about 'malware' and not any significant security breaches. I almost think this video is a parody, and everyone fell for it.

They can hide, they can run but that Vodka will be their undoing. :ROFLMAO:

Not surprising its the same reason china is able to build things so quickly the don't have to ask everyone and their grand mother for approval.
