Why is my PC hang after overclocking?

I'm using Gigabyte 1050 Ti OC. After I ran Techpowerup as standalone program, my PC hang. After I put +500 for core clock and memory clock in MSI Afterburner, I remember the GPU clock was 2002 Mhz as shown in Techpower program. Is that fine? Also, when I ran Dxdiag program, my monitor showed white screen after overclocking.

youre pushing your card too hard back off the oc. wth is "techpowerup as standalone program"? techpowerup is a website. did you flash a custom bios from them or something?
bottom line is your card doesn't like +500/500, back off the OC.

Since it is the OC version, why can't overclock? Sorry it's CPU-Z from Techpowerup. I reset bios CMOS to revert to default settings.

I didn't say you cant overclock your just pushing it really hard right out of the box. start lower and work your way up. just because you saw someone else get +500 doesn't mean you card will.

I noticed that my frame rate drop a bit during teamfight when playing Overwatch. Will GPU overclocking help to maintain constant FPS?

yes OCing you cpu and gpu will help with that. if the slow down is during MP it is probably more cpu related but i don't play OW so I'm not 100% on that...
what are you system specs, besides the 1050ti?

What is MP? Here's my spec:

CPU: i5-3470,
RAM: 2x 4gb DDR3 1600Mhz
Mobo: GA-H77M-D3H

mp=multiplayer. more cpu power is required in mp games as it has to do calculations for all the other players too.
stock or 3rd party cooler on the cpu? if stock, get better cooling and oc the cpu and gpu, that will give you a bit more performance.
heres a random yt vid with a very similar system so you can get an idea of what you should get stock.

Intel stock cooler. When I run Overwatch at 120 FPS, my CPU temp is at 70c and my cooler make noise. What do you mean by "an idea of what you should get stock"?

should have been "an idea of what you should get at stock" as in no OC on the cpu or gpu. if you replace the intel cooler with something better and oc the cpu and gpu you will get a bit better performance but if youre already getting 120fps you could just leave it be. your temp is fine for the intel cooler. is the system running correctly now, at stock speeds?

After I put +500 Mhz for core clock and memory clock in MSI Afterburner, my PC hang. But my PC doesn't hang when +400 Mhz.

well then just pick a value between 400 and 500 that's stable and be happy with it, your card might not be able to do +500 core.

yup that's what I was saying. just because others can get +500 doesn't mean yours will. so you know +400 is stable, 500 crashes so you can just leave it at +400 or try something in-between, like maybe 450 is stable. its now up to you how much effort you want to put in to get it as close to the +500 you want.

My Nvidia has stopped responding and has recovered when I put +400. Should I not put +400?

obviously.
look, no offence intended but I'm not gonna hold your hand through this. I already said what to do and if you cant follow that use google to find a 1050ti oc guide or don't oc.
re-reading this thread I almost feel like I'm being trolled...

Sorry I know nothing about overclocking.
