nVidia GT 710 for Core 2 Duo E7500

You can get a 750ti off Ebay for like $60 bucks, R9 280x's are around that price too.

I like the sounds of this- have never really gotten to do any mods to speak of. Might be a good introduction.

Really leaning towards the 730, but the price tends to fluctuate, so may settle for the 710.

I'd go with a q6600 super cheap from ebay. I have an old Optiplex that I did something similar with a couple years ago. I swapped the E6200 cpu with a Q6600 and added a low profile AMD 7750. It actually performs pretty well in older games.
