Stuck at mobo screen after upgrading vid card

I would unplug the tower power and remove the bios battery for at least 5 min.
 
Try upgrading the bios. I had a similar issue when upgraded from 660ti to 980ti. Updating the bios fixed it.
 
My bios is newest before the beta. The beta was created mostly for ivy bridge support, I'm sure it won't matter.
