Not sure it is a "bundle" if you get only one, but let's not argue semantics here. A free game is a free game, and certainly these are two Triple A titles that are on a lot of folks radar. For Honor looks incredible from a graphics standpoint as you can see in the video below.

Anyone buying a GeForce GTX 1080, GTX 1070 GPU, PC Gaming System or Laptop can choose either Ubisoft’s For Honor or Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands for free.

We are also debuting a new easier way to redeem codes through GeForce Experience, it means customers no longer have to tolerate long sign up webpages but can simply enter their code within GeForce Experience itself and have their choice of game automatically added to their Uplay account.

For Honor hits retail on February 14th while Ghost Recon Wildlands comes out on March 7th.

nice bundle...would have been really impressive if both games came with it...

I'll be keeping an eye out for a cheap wildlands code, but I dunno how many are going to be upgrading with all the new hardware coming up

Another way to try and force people to install GeForce Experience. There is no reason they couldn't have offered both ways to redeem codes.

I played the For Honor alpha and personally was not a big fan. However, i did play it with a KBM and it felt like it might be better played with a controller. At the time I played it though, you could just pick viking and button mash all your opponents into submission. I was hoping it would be more of a finesse timing counter game. Kind of like bushido blade but better graphics.

I've been watching the closed beta that just ended and it looks a lot better than the alpha. I'm almost sold on it. Can't wait to try the open beta the weekend before the full game launches. From what I've heard playing with a controller is a must.

1. Force people? Nobody is forced to install a free game.
2. GFE is Uninstallable

I have yet to hear an explanation for why GFE is so bad, by the way.

Bought my 1080 last week? Can I claim the game?

I just got mine delivered from Amazon today. Qualifies on EVGA's site however I would have had to buy it directly from EVGA's store site. There is nothing regarding the bundle on Amazon directly and I d/l'd the GFE and there were no games to redeem so it appears I am SOL.

I'd go for the Tom Clancy if I got it. I just watched game play footage for For Honor and it was a borefest.

in4 Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands . Open world with Single Player campaign and Multiplayer options, yes please.

I'll try to tolerate the cheesy "Mercs with headsets and baseball hats" theme that's apparently trying to appeal to younger gamers.

I am so upset, I bought mine for Christmas and then all these bundles come out

I was looking at a 1070, but were no bundles out. Ghost Recon Wildlands though...that'd help me swallow the 1070's price. Especially since I just got a 970 last year in Nov.

Didn't you know that's the new thing now? I saw it out in Afghanistan a lot. The baseball hat with subdued US flag on the front. The "operator" cap. Headsets, not so much.

Because now you have to use an account and before you didn't have to! Really that's all i've ever heard people gripe about it. You'd have to make an account with nvidia anyways to redeem the code thats always been true so this is hardly much of a change. It's not like you'd have to go out of your way to dl gfe just have to not unchceck it during driver install.

I didn't bother installing GFE until I got a Nvidia Shield TV, and now it's handy for streaming games to my Sharp 55" TV. I probably wouldn't play twitch games on it, but it's fine for puzzle games like the Witness, for example.

I'll install my 1080 from newegg tonight and see if I get a free game. Bought the card last week.

Well you've been using it for a month and a half.............I'd say that amount of time on performance bump trumps saving $60 on a game compared to the plebs that couldn't afford it when you did.
