Comcast Is America's Most-Hated Company

To be honest, in this video I'm all on Comcast side. Looks at the idiots flying down the road in snow and ice. People have no common sense and it seems not even self preservation. If there's a a hill or blind turn and bad weathers you'd think folks would slow down. But they just blame Comcast truck and not themselves. If I were that tech on the road I'd park the truck to protect me working there, same as police do. I've had bad service from Comcast and all that but this video does not illustrate them as being bad, they're the only ones who do this properly and safely at least in this video.
Could they be going a little slower? Sure. But 4 cones out below the apex of a hill for road work??? Naw, road work has way more than that plus there are SIGNS. They have NONE, ZERO, ZILTCH, NADA but they are blocking a lane on a two way street using just 4 cones in what looks like a snow storm. That's just as stupid as going too fast in my book.

Sure, they perhaps could have done more but it seems they did what's required of them by lay. In respect to that, it doesn't look like drives on the road bothered to exercise any reasonable safety given the road conditions and blind hill in the road. There could have been a broken car, fallen tree, crossing pedestrian and they would have caused an accident or death. Comcast did what they had to given road speed limit and as you can see from the video, very few drivers obeyed it especially despite unsafe road conditions. Just because their stopping distance quadruples and they speed, should they be putting signs half a mile away? For planned roadwork, perhaps, but they were fixing something by the road that was just damaged by someone else flying off the road (likely also being a reckless driver). I live in MD and we have some of the worst drivers, it's same crap here during snow and sleet where people do stupid things and drive way too fast and cause accidents and injuries as they don't care about their own safety and that of others. Regarding the cones, there was no storm and visibility was good, had people not been speeding on ice, they would have stopped and went around the cones and truck like you can see a few cars doing. Reckless drivers and bad road conditions is exactly the reason they put the Comcast truck in the road to protect technician working.

Depends on the state. States like Michigan have guidelines for that. You can't do work on the side of the road of most without some sort of sign especially if you are blocking the road. The only exception usually is in the case of an emergency. Where do you see a speed sign?
