WTB: Windows key valid for Windows 10 Pro

Hi All,

Looking to upgrade my wife's laptop to Windows 10 Pro from Windows 10 Home, so I am looking for a valid key to do that, not sure if a past Windows 7/8 Pro key will work?

A windows 7 Pro key will work if you do a fresh install of Win10 Pro

Will a Win7 Ultimate key work in the same fashion?

I'm not sure what version of windows comes out of 7 ultimate, since 10 doesn't have an ultimate version, but it should yes.

You get a W10 Pro key for W7 Ultimate and they are still accepting W7 W8 & W8.1 keys to upgrade to W10

Thanks, I tried Win7 Ult & Pro to fresh install Win10, both ended up in Win10 Pro. Thanks for the heads up
