It's time once again for ThinkComputer's monthly Worst PC Setups feature. This one is by far my favorite. I wonder if this kid knows it's a crime to steal a shopping cart. :D

Gah.

1. Some people are pigs. I can't imagine how many cockroaches must run around at night on some of those setups. The roaches probably hit various keys and their semi-random hive-mind key inputs are no doubt responsible for the various "bugs" that those users report with their rigs.

2. Why the shovel?

3. Kid with the shopping cart seems to have it together. I'd donate one of my old rigs to that kid (assuming his is as underpowered as it seems in that photo).

I can't imagine how some people live like this? I mean, I'm not exactly the cleanest person in the world at all times, but at least I can say I don't have shit from 3 years ago stagnating everywhere.

Do people not realize that landfills are a thing?

Shopping cart one... I would wager that that one is completely staged just for the article... not even going to bother clicking through as it is a complete waste of time to look at pictures of slobs' probably mostly staged setups for the article.

Dude with all the Franzia boxes.................bad setup and bad taste in booze.

You had me at the shopping cart desk, and how did I miss the ironing board desk trend of 2016?

Yeah...those setups are disgusting. I'd...never...let my desk...get that...messy.

I couldn't handle the clutter ones...but the "I can't afford a desk because I bought this awesome PC" is totally understandable.

I applaud the ingenuity but I'm appalled by the filth. Some people are repugnant, lazy, trifling slobs. What's with the deal with all that awful soda. If it were strewn with beer cans, I could understand. Soda?

I beach chair, a bunch of socks, and a shovel.

Something terrible has happened there.

Don't know where the kid got the cart but it is a rather nice use of a cart for a table. And extra credit for keeping his computer area garbage free!

This was my favorite:

First, being a slob does not make your setup bad.

Second, some of those people just need to hit up craigslist. $10 will get you a pretty decent computer desk.

Sugar and caffeine addicts. I see this in a lot of workplaces and they're also slobs.

MB laying on top of some boxes while there is an empty PC case bolted to the side of the "desk". LOL

Yeah the army shovel on the floor was a bit unerving. Some of these were just nasty slobs, not even bad set ups just nasty. That one dude had enough franzia boxes he could have been very creative with some packing tape and origami..

Ironing boards are very popular.

There was a point in time where I was using milk crates and a piece of free plywood I found on top. My chair was the floor. The plywood barely supported the 14" CRT monitor and it bowed in the middle. But to be fair I had just moved and I decided to leave behind the 900 pound crappy desk. After I had moved that thing about 4 times I said to hell with it. But hey I still managed to finish X-Wing on that crappy warped plywood, with a broken joystick, LOL. My roommate's mother took pity on me and gave me an old particle board desk that was collecting dust on her patio. She did charge me $10 for a chair though.

1993 and I think I was making $6.50 an hour at the time.

About 6 months later I also bought her wicker patio furniture for $50, which went into my living room. Hey it was something to something to sit on instead of the floor, I had no furniture.

But the bag inside the box can be inflated to make a nice pillow for passing out on (as I seem to recall from this hazy period in my life called "college"). Let's see you do that with beer bottles.

Also, I like how the one photo had a picture of a Listerine bottle in it, as if that person EVER goes outside or talks to anyone in real life from the looks of that one lol
