looking for a better cpu running a phenom 9150E

like the title says I am needing a better cpu this phenom 9150E is very sluggish but I am on a budget cheap is all I can say. I may be just out of luck but if anyone has something better let me know.
 
If you can. I'd say to list the motherboard model or if store bought, tower model.

This should help others and yourself with compatibility matching cpu to motherboard
 
You have an AM2+ cpu. But, we really need to know the make and model of the motherboard. You might be restricted to lower wattage cpu's. Best case scenerio, you might be able to run some of the AM3 cpu's depending on your board and it's bios.
