This isn’t difficult to believe, as the company already has a foundation there with their Gear IconX. It’s funny to see people accuse them of copying Apple’s AirPods, when Samsung had their own version out since June.

Samsung will launch new wireless in-ear headphones alongside the Galaxy S8. We’re not sure whether they would be bundled along with the smartphone or sold separately, but Samsung is surely looking to put out a product that competes with Apple’s AirPods. Whether or not these new headphones feature Harman audio remains to be seen. We wish that Samsung sticks with a 3.5mm headphone jack for the Galaxy S8. We reviewed the Gear IconX, Samsung’s first completely wireless headphones, and found that it was a great concept but nowhere near an ideal solution to replace wired headphones.

Samsung makes some great products, but I'm just not interested at all in their phones or tablets.

The hardware is generally pretty good (well... when it's not bursting into flames, at least) but I feel it is absolutely ruined by the software. If they left their phones bootloader unlocked, or shipped a more AOSP-like experience that didn't kill performance like their own builds do, I'd possibly use one.

Back when I had a Galaxy S3, once I put Cyanogenmod on it, it was actually a great device!

Flip side is they are also some of the best 3rd party rom supported devices on the market, so. Lots of other devices don't share that luxury.

Yeah, but Samsung seems to be making it more and more difficult to unlock the bootloaders on their devices as time goes on.

Having to choose an older phone that has been out longer sothat the communityhas successfully unlocked it, or taking a gamble that the bootloader will ever be unlocked is simply not an option.

And taking away removable batteries and making the phone so thin it blows up. Samsung= apple at this point luckily they have a lot of other android phone makers.

Samsung may have been first, but they'll never be magical.

God I hate Apple's marketing team. How about the diving commercial, not only are they saying stereo speakers are magical (been done for like 4yrs now), but they highlight it by showing a dickwad blasting his music at a public pool so he can hear it while 40ft away on a diving board.
