Hey everyone,

I want to gather some opinions on the EVGA GTX 1080 FTW Hydro Copper. I can't find any reviews online even though they are available for purchase at several retail sites. I was hoping for some temperature comparisons between this model and the ones on air.

I currently have my i7-3930K and my GTX 680 on water with a 3x 120mm radiator. I've been debating if I want to break up my loop when I upgrade and just water-cool the processor and have my new 1080 on air. I know EVGA dropped EK for their new Hydro Copper, so I'm not against just purchasing a block from Swiftech, XSPC, or EK either.

I've also noticed that even with water-cooling, I still have to blast the fans to keep the temps down while gaming and no overclocking. I understand I'm trying to cool ancient tech with my 3rd generation hexa-core and the old 680, but as I've aged, silence is more important than anything to me now.

So, is it still worth it to water-cool a modern GPU? Is this Hydro Copper any good? Hoping for some insight. Thanks.
