Firefox Hardware Report.
https://metrics.mozilla.com/firefox-hardware-report/#goto-graphics

63% of Firefox users utilize Intel video hardware.
18% of Firefox users utilize AMD video hardware.
16% of Firefox users utilize Nvidia video hardware.

Is there a similar report for other browsers? Just thought it was interesting enough to glance at. Figured that some conspiracy theorists would like to expound upon why Firefox numbers are wrong.

If this report is indicative of AMD's marketshare, I will despair even more now because this proves AMD has no idea what making a profit means.

Not everyone participates in these surveys. Not to their knowledge anyway.
Has google released any such data before? Smart users let their browser and gaming history safely backed up on google's and nvidia's servers for free anyway. Their numbers must be different.

See, no need for crazy conspiracies.

I would say the Firefox numbers are a tad too low for AMD and Intel. There is a lot more IGP users.

CPU wise Intel at 86.3% also sounds a tad too high.

For AMD only Cayman and Evergreen variants are listed. For Nvidia NV40 and GT218(ION?). All 5 years or more old.

Do you not realize that AMD video hardware is also included as part of APUs as well as in discrete GPUs?

Thats true, the AMD integrated chipsets are popular in mid range notebooks, could be pushing their numbers higher.

I hope so as the Intel video listed is from processors also I assume. I guess Intel could have made a video card at some point in their history. I don't remember it though.

At any rate I thought it was interesting to see the numbers from a browser developer. Since they would be as relevant as Steam Hardware Survey numbers as both are voluntary opt in affairs. So both should be equally relevant. So what if it includes AMD APU numbers? Might be some Tegra numbers in there also as they are hot selling chips. The numbers are what real people use to browse the web with Firefox. Nothing more; nothing less.

Intel had the dedicated GPU Intel740 back in the late 90's if my memory serves me correct. I'm pretty sure I had one.
