not nearly close enough to warrant the post imo. If the gloves were at a more horizontal angle with a huge snowflake centered, maybe.
 
Saw this over on another site, after someone had taken a pen to certain parts..... Quite obvious we are all in the gutter on the Internet. :)
 
Me thinks some graphic artists mind wandered as he or she was supposed to be drawing festive mittens...
 
I've had one of those cups and didn't notice the similarity. Cups with mittens and sweaters and the like are big in Canada for some reason. Tim Hortons started it.

No it wouldn't. Try covering your chest as if you had boobs and you'll see how awkward and un natural the mittens position for that actually is. Boob covering usually places the hands in a sideways fashion.

It seems to depend on how large your theoretical boobs are. I can get a similar hand angle at about 12" out. Or the person could be covering their face in shame.
 
Wonder if this was planned viral stuff. It works too well. They pass ok for mittens, but they are a little off. Thumbs are strange in proportion.
