Connecting rj45 cables

Our external cctv swann camera stopped working as water got inside the network cable wire (RJ45 female port)
To fix this I thought I would remove the female port from the swann camera to expose the wiring and then connect to a female port of a spare cat6e cable(8 wires + one drain wire).

However, the swann wiring seems to be completely different to what I was expecting. It has 6 wires of the following colours, does anyone know how I would connect this to a cat network cable?

swann colors:
orange
orange/white
green
green/white
grey
purple

the cat 6e cable colors(8 wires + drain):
orange + white
green + white
brown +white
blue + white
+ drain?

Hmm... your dark font color is not playing nice with the default [H] theme.

Anyways.... if you look at the typical 568B pin out it would be like this (it would be 568A if orange and green were swapped):

1 Data (TX +) = Orange w/stripe
2 Data (TX -) = Orange
3 Data (RX +) = Green w/stripe
4 Ground (-) = Blue
5 Ground (-) = Blue w/stripe
6 Data (RX -) = Green
7 Power (+) = Brown w/stripe
8 Power (+) = Brown

We can probably safely assume the orange and green wires are for data. The grey and purple wires.. I'm not sure about and could just be propriety colors for either power or ground.or one of each. Only way to know is to look at which pin number those wires were terminated at.

Or I could be talking out of my ass and the whole thing is a proprietary pin out.
