NCASE M1 Softshell Carry Bag for community

sounds like a reasonable price point for a relatively low volume custom product. Looking forward to seeing what comes out of this effort :)

I myself need one too :)

The latest dimensions for "global carry on" makes it impossible for me to carry clothing and the M1 in a suitcase, so I'm going to using add a soft bag to gear, so why not make it available for more people.

I too would like to see how this works out. I may want to get one if it meets my needs.

I'm talking to a mfg about the carrying bag now.

If there are specific features that you guys want, let me know.

The plan is to get a prototype towards NOV.

Awesome!

-Carry strap both hand and shoulder.
-Side Pockets (A baggy one for something like a mouse/cables and a flat one for things like a mousepad)
-Interior pocket (Maybe located on the top portion like a net?)
-Buckle straps (for added closure reinforcement and a keyboard maybe?)
-ID tag window

Noted.

An interior divided compartment design would be cool, kinda like a camera bag. Like a main compartment for the M1 and a divided area for headphones/mouse/cables as needed. Personally I'd prefer mores stuff to be contained within the main body of the bag rather than external pockets, especially for something like headphones.

The problem I would see is it would noticeably add to the size. Having external pockets means if you pack light the bag will take up less space. For the upper compartment net which I went with that idea based off DSLR camera bags, if it's deep enough it should be able to accommodate headphones. I'd rather the bag have the exact dimensions of the case so it slips in snug with no extra aside from padding/reinforced corners at the bottom.

Something that fits a full size keyboard too. Could be inside or outside. I don't think either would matter to me. Hold/carry a gaming mouse too. Extra cables I suppose too. Just my picks.

Yea, I figured somebody would point that out but that doesn't bother me at all. I'd much rather give up the 2-3 inches in length or whatever to have the space be internal and relatively protected and to have the exterior be "cleaner" without protruding soft pockets containing valuable peripherals like mice and headphones. I don't want a full size keyboard internally since It'd be way too long IMO, but adding the length for a TKL keyboard would probably get you the space I'm looking for. Just my 2 cents anyway.

It's a factory in China recommended by a friend, not a brand/company.

I have a 5.11 tactical bag and Etsy Liz's M1 bag as samples / benchmark, will not accept any quality below that.

Necere and prob few other people will test the bag before production. I will upload pictures after I have the sample also.

Is there any projected timeline you are aiming for? Just debating if I should get a bag for now to hold off or not.

I already have the sample, I have to make some adjustments to the 1) straps, 2) zippers, 3) cushion.

I would say prob JAN 2017.

I think it looks like a great product. Would it be suitable size for a carry luggage? If so I will purchase it.

Yes, it is within the carry-on limit. Size is ~48x30x24cm or ~19x12x10in.

Staying within the size limit for carry-on is very important to me, b/c I fly and don't trust airlines to handle my PC. My main concerns with check-in luggages is that the Motherboard PCIe and GPU may not survive too many tumbles.

I forgot to mention it has a Suitcase Handle Strap (hooks onto rolling suitcase handles for easy transportation)

Thanks for the response! I didn't want to trust mine to the baggage handlers either. I am looking forward to the case becoming a reality!

Looks amazing! Whats the deal with peripherals? Also, is it just me are is there a lack of branding on it?

It is a prototype sample, maybe the final product will have the NCase logo . We will have to see what Wahaha360 and Necere decide.

Looks amazing too me. I would be interested as soon as I find a new job to pay for it haha. Always wanted an Ncase carrier.

Less than $100? Sounds like a good deal and its carry on acceptable as well although I don't plan on flying with mine. Just by auto.

The United sizer for personal items is 9"x11"x18" . No chance of fitting into that, right? :)

Which bag / picture are you referring to?

There is an MOQ, most likely one bag style.

This one !! I really like the design of this bag and it fits the case perfectly without any dangling pockets and stuff.

Just catching this thread, very interested in the bag, but does it support those of us with the res mounted to the back of the case?

Sample 3, very happy with the bag, here are some pictures, I will take better pictures later.

Its looking good ! When do you think it will be available for order and will you use the Ncase web site to order?

I'm also making a bag for DonDan's A4.

In light of this, the bag will likely be a new brand. The bag will be shown on NCASE website and forwarding people to the right website for purchase.

I'm moving, so haven't had a chance to take pictures and setup the websites, but current preorder ETA 2017 JAN.
