What case do you love & if it was changed a little it would be perfect? I love the size of the element q. if it had 1 more slot & maybe a tiny bit higher for double slot GPU clearance it would be awesome... I mean a case that small with a real GPU, awesome... I would love to make my own case, but I don't know enough...

Dan-A4... just plain perfect (in mi opinion/needs) for SFF fans...

I would change a few little things, but they are so minor that you could easily mod it a bit and that's it...

I'm loving the Ncase M1 for mitx builds right now. They are on version 5 right now so there have been small improvements to the case since it launched. Rather pricey for a case however. Many won't want to pay the price. Its not for budget minded types.

I love my Ncase M1, but I have such a small desk that I would love it if somebody made a case that was like an Ncase M1 or the Dan-A4 crossed with the Silverstone Fortress mini. Basically take the M1 or the A4 and stand it up so the longest dimension is the height. Then add cable routing so the I/O cables aren't comming out of the top, and maybe an intake fan or 2 on the new bottom side of the case.

The Silverstone FT03 Mini... The PSU is in the way of the CPU cooler.

Or you could just get a bigger desk.

Hmmm

Ncase M1. This is just a nitpick but what if ncase left the inside of the case bare aluminum since the black paint scratches easily based on some photos posted in the ncase thread.
I already love the black interior so don't get me wrong.

Fractal Design Node 202. It is compact and reasonably priced, but I wish it was smaller and didn't need that outer shell.

Basically I just wish Fractal would make something like the Sentry except with Fractal's mass production, wide availability, and reasonable pricing.

I think one thing that many cases could do better is dust filtering. My computer cases in the past would always get terribly dusty. Then I got the Ncase M1 and the demciflex filters for it. I don't know if Necere planned for the case to work so well with filters, but it is amazing how I have almost no noticeable dust in my M1 after using it for years now (I got one of the version 1 cases). Not only is my case clean, but the filters on the M1 are hidden, yet easily accessible for removal and cleaning. They are on the underside of the case and on the inside of the side panels, which are easily removable without using any tools. Some key things that I think make the filtering work so well is that it is easy to have a fan setup that makes positive air pressure in the case, and also the filters are able to be attached so close to the fans that they can't pull air around the filter, they have to pull it through the filter.

I like the HTPC cases, but every one I run into has the PSU after the GPU, it might be better before the MB sideways so the bottom fan can suck the heat away from the MB... I see some that are 17 inches wide & it seems they could shrink that a few inches...
